These terms cover your use of hackathons.ph, operated by We do cool stuff Inc., a Philippine corporation based in Cebu City. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

What hackathons.ph is

Hackathons.ph is a free, public index of hackathons in the Philippines. Listing and browsing are free, for organizers and attendees, and we intend to keep them that way. Separately, the same team runs hackathons for companies and universities as a paid service; that work is covered by its own written agreement, not by these terms.

Listings and registration

We list events and link out to the organizer's own registration page. We do not handle registrations, tickets, or payments for listed events, and we are not the organizer. Always confirm dates, eligibility, prizes, and other details on the organizer's own page before you rely on them.

Your account

If you create an account, give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete it at any time.

Content you post

You keep ownership of the event details and other content you submit. You grant us a licence to display and distribute that content on the platform (including in the newsletter and feeds) while it is listed. You confirm you have the right to post it and that it is accurate and lawful.

Scraped events and claims

Some listings are gathered from public sources to make the index useful from day one. If you are the real organizer of one of these, you can claim it; once we verify you, the listing becomes yours to manage. We review claims manually and may ask for proof.

Acceptable use

• Do not post false, misleading, unlawful, or infringing content.
• Do not spam, scrape, or abuse the service or its APIs.
• Do not try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Changes to the service

We add, change, and remove features as the site grows, and we may limit or pause parts of it. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can, but the index is a free service and we cannot promise it will always look or work exactly as it does today.

Ending your use

You can stop using hackathons.ph or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the platform or its users at risk. If we close your account, the listings you posted may be unpublished or removed.

No warranties

The index is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that every listing is correct, current, or complete, and we do not endorse any listed event or organizer. Use your own judgement.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, We do cool stuff Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or from any listed event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes fall under the courts of Cebu City.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. Questions go to hello@hackathons.ph.
